Scooters Pizza’s Wendywood and Sunninghill customers can expect to become accustomed to exceptional service and Hot.Tasty.Fast meals, as both stores have been revived under the dynamic leadership of new owner, Richard Walters.
Walters is an accomplished and experienced businessman, with over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry as both a qualified chef and manager. He has also successfully owned a company that consulted on new hotel developments as well as the running of food and beverage departments in hotels.
As such, his experience will prove vital to increasing the value offerings at both Scooters Pizza stores.
“During the years that I have worked in the hospitality industry, I gained a keen insight into the trends of consumers in the food and beverage industry, and the specific value offerings they are looking for. I intend to apply this knowledge in ensuring that both Scooters Pizza Wendywood and Sunninghill offer customers a memorable experience.
“Therefore, patrons at either of the stores can expect a superior value offering, including delectable and quality food, outstanding service, and the hottest and tastiest deals.”
Christo Calitz, CEO of Taste Holdings Food Division, agrees that Walters has the credentials to ignite long term success at both stores.
“Undoubtedly, Richard’s impressive track record in the hospitality industry will prove beneficial to the success of the two Scooters Pizza stores that are now under his ownership. I am confident that his management style will result in Scooters Pizza making a considerable impression on the communities in which they operate..”
Walters adds that he aims to involve both stores in corporate social investment activities, and is looking into running a fund raising campaign for local schools in the stores’ surrounding areas.
“I am extremely excited about these new ventures, and intend to ensure that not only is the turnover at both stores increased, but that they become the preferred take-away choice in their local community,” concludes Walters.
