The investment required for a Regional Franchise is dependent on the individual market dynamics of the location. The Establishment Fee ranges from R150,000 upwards dependant on location. For a smaller regional franchise you would require the establishment Fee, capital of approximately R300,000 to fit out the operation, plus working capital.
The investment required for a Courier Franchise ranges from R140,000 upwards depending on the cost of the franchise area and the price of the vehicle used. The investment consists of a vehicle, the fee for the franchise territory, training fee, handheld scanner, uniform, marketing material etc. A list of items will be provided on request. Franchise territory areas range from R45 000 upwards. There is a once - off training fee of R5,000 per territory.

Regional Franchise
A Regional Franchisee is granted an exclusive territory in which to develop its business. The franchise is granted in perpetuity. A Regional Franchise is a large management business opportunity which provides business services to Courier Franchisees. These services include the provision of a Depot, Training, IT, Administration, Operational, Sales and Marketing support. The franchise is granted in perpetuity and provides the opportunity to create a significant capital gain. A Regional Franchisee has the potential to create a high income generating business.

Courier Franchise

A Courier Franchisee is granted an exclusive territory within a region and the franchise is granted in perpetuity. Opportunity exists to create goodwill and significant capital gains.
It is a 5 day business week, and there are no ongoing royalties and marketing fees.
Comprehensive training, support and assistance is provided prior to commencement and on an ongoing basis.

What is the cost of a Regional Franchise?

The investment required is dependent on the individual market dynamics of the Regional Franchise location. The Establishment Fee ranges from R150,000 upwards dependant on location. For a smaller regional franchise you would require the Establishment Fee amount, capital of approximately R300,000 to fit out the operation plus working capital. All costs are approximate and exclude vat.
The Regional Franchise has ongoing monthly running costs which include the depot lease, salaries of employees, and various other running costs.
What is the cost of a Courier Franchise?
A Courier Franchisee is granted an exclusive territory. The territory is granted in perpetuity. As the business develops portions of the territory can be split and sold to create a capital gain. There are no ongoing royalties or fees. There are established territories for sale in all existing Regional franchises.
The investment required for a Courier Franchise ranges from R140,000 upwards depending on the cost of the franchise area and the price of the vehicle used.
You will need sufficient funds to pay for a vehicle, the fee for the franchise territory, training, handheld scanner, uniform, marketing material etc. You would also require an amount for working capital. A list of items will be provided on request. The cost of Courier Franchise territories range from R45 000 upwards. There is a once -off training fee of R5,000 per territory. Approximate total start-up costs range from R140,000 upwards dependent on the cost of the territory and the value of the vehicle you purchase.
A late model, long wheel base white vehicle with a large cubic metre capacity is to be provided by the Courier Franchise.
How we train and support you
Training and support to Regional and Courier Franchisees is both comprehensive and ongoing.
Prior to commencing with the business, an in-depth 3 week training program is undertaken by the Regional Franchisee and its staff. It is expected that the Regional Franchisee and its staff successfully undertake the end of training examination. The National Franchise Support Office (FSO) provides onsite training and support for a period of one week prior to the commencement date. On commencement of the business, “full time” on-the-ground support is provided by the FSO for a period of one month. Thereafter, the FSO provides a minimum of 2 days per month support and assistance to the Regional Franchisee.
A Courier Franchisee undertakes an in-depth classroom and practical training program prior to commencement. Courier Franchisees are expected to successfully complete the daily examinations. On the commencement of the business a 20 week support program is provided. Thereafter training is conducted on a weekly basis, with specific personalized support being provided weekly in respect of sales, and monthly in respect of business planning and review.
Regional Franchisee
No transport experience is necessary. An experienced business person with good business acumen is a requirement, an individual that is sales orientated, with the ability to work within a team environment, ability to lead, and must be prepared to comply and follow a system. A husband and wife team works well in this environment.
Courier Franchisee
Courier Franchisees come from all walks of life and no experience in the transport industry is necessary. A prerequisite is a stable background; to be physically capable of performing the role of a Courier Franchisee, an outgoing personality, hands on, must be prepared to follow a proven system, and an individual that is seeking an opportunity to develop and run their own business.
